Explore the art of tease in this playful classical burlesque workshop, where you’ll learn how to flirt with your audience and command the stage.
You will learn valuable striptease techniques and a delicious burlesque choreography that will have you feeling free and oh-so-sexy.
Suitable for all levels, including absolute beginners.

Take up space, command the stage and bring forth your inner femdom in this gritty, empowering, fetish-inspired neo-burlesque workshop.
I’ll teach you characterisation techniques to grow your performance skills that we will weave into a burlesque choreography playing with a kinky prop and a robe.
Suitable for all.

Who is Michelle Kasey?
Michelle Kasey is a celebrated performing artist and sensual movement teacher with over 14 years of experience. A two-time national pole dancing champion who has shared the stage with Snoop Dogg, she has since found her home in the world of burlesque, captivating audiences at home and abroad as an evocative entertainer and sensual storyteller. Michelle co-owns The Velvet Haven, a burlesque school with locations in Auckland and Wellington. By day, she is an award-winning Sex & Relationships Therapist and writer.

These workshops flow very well into each other.

Classical Tease
Wear anything you feel comfortable and confident moving in. Heels are optional - I recommend latin, ballroom or heels dance shoes. If you’re not wearing heels, I recommend socks.
Yes Mistress
As above AND bring a robe, kimono or wrap dress that we will be dancing with.

Not. Even though these are striptease workshops, there is no nudity involved.
Classical Tease - we will be stripping off elbow length gloves.
Yes Mistress - we will be stripping robes.
That being said, this is a body-positive space so you are welcome to wear lingerie if you’d like too. No nudity.
