Hey, I’m Michelle Kasey.

I wonder what brought you here?

I’m an award-winning Sex & Relationships Therapist, celebrated Burlesque Artist and Teacher, and Writer.

I absolutely love my job and have been lucky to have helped thousands of people to live with more embodied pleasure, authenticity and high-quality connection.

I used to work in employment law and senior HR. It feels like a lifetime ago. I transitioned into the work I do now after looking for sexual healing myself and finding few practitioners that took the trauma-informed, somatic, holistic, practical and playful approach that is integral to how I have worked with my clients for the past 6+ years.

Personally, I began my sexual empowerment journey in a pole dancing studio at 19. Being a dancer and performer for the last 13 years has taught me how to move my body and take up space in all the liberating ways I was taught not too. The work that has had the most profound impact on my quality of life and relationships, is what I facilitate as a Therapist.

As an Artist, I seek to give people an opportunity to experience the erotic as an audience member.

As a Burlesque Teacher, I create spaces and provide tools for people to explore their sensual self expression and evolve their relationship to their bodies.

As a Therapist, I partner with people to bring attention, curiosity and care to parts of themselves that have been judged, repressed and ignored. Be that tender traumas, or their deepest desires.

My approach as a Therapist is…

  • Invitational

Your agency is always centered. In our sessions, you are positioned as the expert of your experience. I am here as a space holder, mirror & skilled guide. You will never have to participate in anything you don’t feel a true yes for.

  • Somatic-focused

I work with clients in two directions: mind > body & body > mind. We won’t just transform your thoughts + beliefs, we’ll also re-pattern your nervous system facilitating holistic & sustaining transformation.

  • Processing AND cultivating

Traditional therapy focuses on processing the past. My work focuses on both processing past wounds, outdated patterns & beliefs that are standing in the way, as well as cultivating new mindsets & nervous system capacities so that you can experience your sexual self & relationship(s) in powerful new ways.

  • Two parts pleasure, for one part shadow work

Throw out any ideas you might have about inner work being stiff & boring. Pleasure & celebration is incredibly valuable in any healing & transformational process. Yes, we go deep. And, we cultivate pleasure, play & celebration!

  • Trauma-informed

I have received significant trauma training & have a lot of experience working with survivors within their ‘window of tolerance’.
